Who We Are:

 

Joan Agha Foundation is a non-governmental organization registered under the Corporate Affairs Commission of The Federal Republic of Nigeria and was officially launched on July 9, 2011.  The programme of the Foundation addresses the needs of the indigent persons in our society through educational scholarships awarded to brilliant indigent students, women empowerment, youth empowerment, medical aid schemes, counselling and advocacy.

Our Focus:

• To discover, nurture and assist indigent brilliant students with educational scholarship.

• To provide financial assistance to indigent members of the society.

• To extend financial assistance to young graduates who have entrepreneurial skills but lack the finances to establish small Businesses of their choice.

• To sponsor medical research in institutions of learning and to upgrade medical care.

• To inform, sensitize, educate on best hygiene and terminal diseases.

• To create a forum for members to be continually acquainted with development in poverty alleviation in the country and the global world.

• To create a conducive atmosphere for members' participation in gender/children development ideas in the country and the global world.

• To cooperate with other organizations with similar objectives in any part of the world.
